Norway’s Official Origin Label
“Made in Norway” is Norway’s official origin label. It is a part of the Norwegian government’s export reform and managed by Innovation Norway, who ensures the companies compliance to criteria related to origin, responsibility, and sustainability.

Wonderland wants to make it easier to make sustainable choices. That’s why we choose OEKO-TEX as the eco-label for our removable and washable textiles.
High quality, a long lifespan and a healthy sleeping environment have always been important parts of our product development. In addition to eco-labeling, our beds also have washable textiles to provide a sleeping comfort that lasts..
We all have dust mites in our homes and dust mites thrive particularly well in our bedrooms. To get rid of dust mites, it is important that your bed textiles can be washed at 60°C. We therefore place extra high demands on the textiles we choose to provide a clean and healthy sleeping environment for many years to come.
Washable textiles give the bed longer durability and a fresh and healthy sleep environment for years to come.
We heavily prioritise a healthy sleeping environment, and have put washable textiles on the entire bed – not just the top mattress. With separating zippers, each individual part easily fits in a standard size washing machine.
Dust mites can be found in all homes, and thrive in beds in particular. To get rid of the dust mites, it is important that the textiles are washed at 60°C. Washable textiles provide the entire bed with an extended lifespan, and you get a clean, healthy sleeping environment for years to come.
With Wonderland’s adjustable hip zone, you can adjust the firmness to your personal needs. This will provide calmer sleep with better sleep quality and recovery.
If you prefer to sleep on you side, it is important that you spine is as straight as possible. With the adjustable hip zone, you can adjust how deep your hip sink into the mattress, in comparison with your shoulder. When the firmness suits you, your hip should get the correct support and your spine will be straight.
Find the adjustment sliders underneath the bed.
You can adjust the firmness when you are assembling the bed or from underneath when the bed is assembled.
Place the sliders towards the middle. The bed gets softer and your hip will sink further down.
Place the sliders towards the edges. The bed gets firmer and your hip will be placed further up.
Our bottom frames do not have a predefined head or foot end. You can therefore choose which end that is placed as the head end:
On the wooden bottom frames, you choose the mattresses marked with BASE. You find the BASE information on the packaging or on the side of the mattress.
Wonderland’s mattresses have a shoulder zone at both ends of the mattress and can therefore be turned in all directions:

Developing products with a long lifespan is one of the most important sustainability principles.
This contributes to reduce our environmental footprint and provides quality and comfort that lasts.
Our tests show that the materials’ ability to provide good pressure relief, moisture transport and ventilation are the most important material features to ensure the same high level of sleeping comfort over a long period of time.
In addition, the materials must be able to withstand continuous heat changes in order for the bed to provide the same high level of comfort for many years.
In the middle of some of the world’s most jagged and rugged mountain peaks, the dream of contributing to something big started. We want to contribute to a world that sleeps better and focus on research-based product development to give you a world-class sleeping comfort.
Environmental project
Now we are reaching even further. Through the largest environmental project in the Norwegian furniture history, we have developed new knowledge that will reduce the carbon footprint of a bed by 50%.
Our choices matter
But for us, sustainability and sleep mean so much more than an eco-friendly bed. It’s about how we can make a positive impact and set focus on the fact that our everyday choices actually matter.
Because we care.
About you. About your sleep.
About our planet.
With SUSTAINABLE SLEEPING® we combine our knowledge of sleep and sustainability and set focus on e importance of sleep and how we together can contribute to a sustainable society.
SLEEP
Since 1969, we have been passionate about sleep and what the body needs to sleep well. In our ultra-modern factory in Norway, we focus on research-based knowledge to create the best beds for good sleep and recovery.
